MCAT Physics Tutor
You may already know (and if you don't will quickly learn): You can understand the physics - but still not be able to do the problems!
If you want (how about need) a program to study physics just for the MCAT physics problems, you probably want some or possibly all of the following features:
If
you want these things you have come to the right place! This MCAT
Physics Tutor
site will provide this
and more. Look at what you get!
You can take just the tutorials, teaching problems and worked problems or the personal tutoring or just the practice test plus evaluation or you can take the whole package.
If
you want the problems, check out the many free samples below (Prj11 and
TPrj13
are excellent examples) and ask yourself if this will help you do MCAT
physics
problems faster and easier. We get right to the heart of each
topic with a
basic review of each topic, audio-visual tutorials, worked problems and
then teaching
problems were
you can drill yourself on procedures until you have mastered them.
About half the problems use a
show/hide approach. In these problems
you first
see the statement of the problem and possibly a prompt to draw a
diagram.
Clicking the show/hide button shows the next step in the
problem. With
successive show/hide buttons the route through the problem is slowly
revealed. This way you can follow along the problem and work
it out while
checking each step along the way. We think this is much
better than
stating the problem and then prompting you for the answer or having you
read a
worked problem or watching someone solve problems.
The
problems
cover the areas such as Mechanics, Magnetism and Light that you will
find on
the MCAT test. The usual study route is to read teh topic
discussion, watch the audio-visual tutorials and then work through the
teaching problems.
After you get used to this technique of learning how to apply concepts to problem solving you will look over the worked problems and then copy the "T" or teaching problems with the hide buttons, and work through the problem yourself successively checking by "showing" each step in the problem. A little unsure of the procedure? No Problem. Just come back another time and do it again. You will effectively teach yourself to do the problems in a non-threatening (no class, no colleagues or instructor that is moving at a pace different from yours) environment. Take as long as it takes. When you can do the problem completely without opening any show buttons, you have mastered the technique for that type of problem. And what are these problems. They are the ones that we have determined to be most like ones you will find on the MCAT test.
If
you want one-on-one tutoring help, then check out our on line tutoring
software.
Click on
the link to go to the power point presentation of MCATUTOR, our
online
interactive tutor machine. The software uses text, images you can draw,
with
the help of your instructor, and voice. You can even download sessions
for
review.
If
you want
help with practice tests, we will supply you with two practice tests,
and after
you have completed them, we will give you a written review of how you
did on
the problems with suggestions where you might improve.
Why
are we so confident that we can prepare you better than anyone else? Simple. We have the experience in
physics and in preparing
students for the MCAT test. Just a little background on the people who
have
created this web site:
You
can sign
up for the problems, $99.95; the one-on-one tutoring, $199.95; the
tests and
review,
$99.95; or the whole package for $299.95. The whole package is a
savings of
$100.00 over the parts purchased separately. Start conservatively with
the
problems and add the tutoring or test evaluation as you progress.
Whichever way
you do it, you are going to get a higher score on the physics portion
of the
MCAT.
Click
on the Sign
Up link
below and pay with any major
credit card. After that you can sign in each time you visit
the site and
have access to all the problems. We will communicate with you by e-mail
and
arrange for your tutor and the practice tests. If you want
more tutor
time just ask, the fee for additional tutor time is $149.95 per hour or
fraction.
This
site shows you how to do
problems.
Doing
problems is how you get graded
on the
MCAT test!

The problems, audio-visual tutorials and teaching problems cost $99.95, This is for one year access to the site. This purchase may make the difference between excellence and mediocrity, or perhaps between attending med school and not. Sign up for the whole program (best deal) or any parts of it. |
