My background is in theoretical and experimental physics and I'm available as an experienced expert witness. "What can a physicist do for me?"; Probably things you never thought of! Many cases involve injury in automobile accidents. The traditional accident reconstruction expert tells you how the vehicles moved. My analysis goes beyond the usual accident reconstruction to application of the physical laws governing collisions (conservation of momentum and conservation of energy). This allows me to describe the accident more precisely and often more importantly describe what happened to the occupants of the vehicle during the crash. This analysis allows me to quantify the crash effects on the people involved, describe the crash for a jury and compare it to other injury producing events so the jury gets a "feel" for the severity of the crash.
