Welcome to the
Consulting-Expert Witness Site
for
This site contains information on
expert witnessing in physics, mathematics, auto crash analysis, accident
reconstruction, industrial accidents, race car accidents and the biomechanics
of human body motion in accidents. We have the capability to perform coefficient
of friction measurements (slip-and-fall accidents), hotschock testing of
automobile lamps (this determines if a lamp was burning when an accident
occured), luminance testing and testing of most physical conditions. We can also produce two dimensional and three
dimensional animations.
Introduction
There are several areas in this
site dealing with different aspects of my expert witness-consulting work. A
good place to start is with the introduction that answers the question "What can a physicist do for me?"
followed by a collection of possible scenarios.
General Background
There is general background
information on me in the form of a short biography followed by a brief background and a formal CV.
Newsletter
Since many of my clients are not
science oriented (If they were they would not need me!) I have a newsletter, One
Expert's Opinion. I discuss a single topic of general interest in each
newsletter. If you would like to receive copies of the newsletter, drop us a
note through the "contact us" area available from the home page. As
the newsletter articles accumulate they will be archived for reference.
Clicking on newsletter accesses this area of the site.
Hot Topics
In addition to the newsletter,
topics of immediate interest from time-to-time will be discussed under the
category of "Hot Topics." These discussions are based on cases I have
worked on, colleagues have worked on or situations I have come across in the
literature that have a unique, unusual or different aspect that can be used in
presenting a case. These "Hot Topic" articles will also be archived
and available for reference. Clicking on "Hot Topics" accesses this area of the
site.
